Life styles, if  a balanced blend leads to an optimal mix of Body-Mind In-balance…else can cause a Body-Mind Im-balance.

If you sense an im-balance, here are some ways to break the pattern…Intelligence is detecting a non-optimal pattern…and breaking the pattern…dropping the pattern…and it can be made quite an experiment in itself…

A Relaxed Experiment… A fun experiment.. A detached…A silent experiment…within yourself… No Big Bang Approach…Below are 5 such ideas…pattern breakers…

  • For ex, if you are a late riser in the mornings…. Switch ….Switch over to waking up early in the morning for a few days….Surprise yourself…and others if applicable 🙂 and catch the sunrise or take  a stroll…

 

  • Suddenly decide to be in silence for a 1 hour duration….just watch the impulse…the craving to blurt out something…and Zip it….it’s Fun… Helps you laugh at yourself…

  • Stay away from your Smart phone for 1 day… No calls, No texting… And yes, you will survive

Afterall you are smarter than your smart phone, aren’t you??

There can be many activities which you can catch up with, without your Smart Phone….Gardening? Reading? Singing? Many erstwhile and buried to-do things are likely to crop up…

  • If possible….Make it a No Electronic Entertainment day… No TV, No Mobiles, No Smart Phones, No I-pods, No I-pads, No MP3 players.. No computers….

  • If you happen to be awake late night…. just go to the terrace and enjoy the Moonlight….Away from all artificial lights….Listen to the silence….Tune into the silent melody of the night…

Opposites help… If you are leading a obscenely hectic life…Slow down…Break the pattern….

Just watch all the crazy…whacky thoughts that arise….during the course of these experiments or any other experiment that perhaps triggers in you…laugh with them…or laugh at them… Watch them…

Speed has it’s thrill… A leisurely walk has it charm… Enjoy both.. Happy “Lifing”….
